Against the backdrop of multiple social and urban crises, this report explores the growing debates on progressive municipalism and re-municipalisation in Turkey. Focusing on the public provision of essential services such as housing, transport, health and infrastructure, it analyses how neoliberal policies have reshaped local governance and labour conditions, and argues for re-municipalisation as a social equality principle grounded in decent work, democratic governance and public interest.
